West Marin Community Radio (KWMR-90.5/89.3 fm and online at kwmr.org) serves the rural Watershed communities of West Marin, though on-line listener members can be found from here to Amsterdam.  The programming spans many musical genres and includes a roster of progressive and environmentally oriented locally produced programming, as well as free broadcast training programs for adults and youth.  KWMR has become a model for communities around the country that struggle to create and maintain publicly owned airwaves.

KWMR is sustained primarily by individuals who either listen to the radio regularly, or simply believe in the concept of local media.
