Well, it's that time of the week again, we're slowly slip sliding into Uke Friday!
Hope you're all having a good one thus far and that the rest of the week goes easy for you all.
Mahalo Nui to all for a great Home Coming last Friday. It was great to come home and share Meles with the Ohana again. Though memories of Hawaii begin to fade as the rhythm of daily life takes hold. Our Friday Nights remind us of what we strive to remember in song and as an Ohana.
As for this week's food theme . . . how about "S & S" food? Honor of: 1937 US Social Security system makes its 1st benefit payment? I wonder who that was and where they retired from? Hmmmmmm.
Also, this Sunday is the Hayward Ukulele Festival. I'm thinking we're doing the same thing as last year and congregating in the Quadrangle? Hope to see you there!

We'll be bringing delicious pot stickers. Since the first Social Security system was in China 3,000 years ago, I think that goes with the theme.
