051807 - Uke Night

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi All!

Here we are on Hump day! Hope this week's been a mellow one for you all, considering the busy week past.

Big Congrats to Halau Na Pua for their great Ho'ike! For those of you who made it and participated, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Please send some good Mana to Brudda Al, who's recovering from a recent procedure. Wish him well and smooth sailing from here on.

This week we'll be celebrating May Babies Amnesty Night, for babies like (my) Pua! So let us know if you're one so we can wish you a Hauoli La Hanau!

As for this week's food theme let's go with "Sound Food" in honor of Jacqueline Cochrane, USA who in 1953 became the 1st woman to break the sound barrier (in a jet plane, wink, wink!).

Okay, I'm new to this. What do you mean by "sound" food?

    'Jello' carries good vibrations
'Ants on a Log' has a good crunchy sound.

    Any hints?
