Memorial Friday
BOT:
Alooooooha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!
Well we're finally over that mid-week hump! It's been one busy week for me, I hope you folks are doing better.
Mahalo Nui Loa to the Hammajang* Hawaiian Band (Patty, Kimo, Linda, Lanakia, Susan, and Donley) for making Lucas' Silent Auction such a fun one. Not sure if they made the money they needed, but they sure appreciated us! I'm indebted to you all!
Mahalo Nui Loa to all the great kaukau and Kanikapila last week, always inspiring to be able to play with such a great Ohana of Ukulele players!
*hammajang
(hah mah jang)
Definition: messed up; criss-cross; ad hoc; any kine
Used In A Sentence: You stay all hammjang already.
In English?: How can you even think like that? That's messed up.
As for this week's food theme Susan had a great suggestion of "Memorial Food", that which conjures and/or improves memories. Sound like a weeena to me!
Also, for those of you still interested in the group Ukulele Classes, I've decided to move it Sunday starting at 10:30a running to 12:30p. Hopefully this will make it easier for the majority to attend, we'll see how it goes for now. Mahalo everyone for your input and understanding. We'll be starting the new classes this Sunday.
A Big Mahalo to everyone for helping Pua greet her Birthday, always more funner with friends in attendance!
