We'll have to miss this one, as we are going to a Balinese celebration on Friday. Gonna put on our sarongs and do the temple thing with our Balinese friends. Yes, we've gone native (or 'gone bamboo' as they say in Britain).

So sorry to miss Independence Foods and whatever will be dreamed up for July 6th.
We'll be in Kansas and Colorado through 7/7/07 (I just love writing that!), getting home late on 7/9. Yes, we're flying low, as in driving.

I've just started making sesame noodles - how the heck am I going to fit that into tonite's category? Howbout I call it "open sesame" noodles? Getting closer? What the hey - you'll like them.

Just thought - this is based on the most delish noodles that I first had at a restaurant called "Hunan U.S. 1." Not only that - U.S. 1 is a.k.a. the Boston Post Road, which runs from Boston to New York and, long before it was paved, was used by Paul Revere to tell everyone "The British are coming!" Beat that.
