Missing and without Action
Aloha UFOhana, just an 411 on one of MIA Pilots:
Hi Del
Hi Del
It was good to see you today. Maybe you can pass this on to the Friday night Ohana. I have sorely missed being with everyone over the last few weeks, and really, the last few months. Back in April I was made "Director" of our companyʻs operations in California. I put that in quotes because so far work, crises, life, deadlines, etc. have directed me more than anything. My nice work at home pace got exchanged for dealing with the problems generated by 30 county mental health programs and many new state and federal directives that our company had to respond to. Travel to Santa Barbara, which has been frequent over the last year tapered off, but was quickly replaced to travel to other places all over California. Trying to find time to play and have fun has been a challenge.
Hopefully I can find some open Friday nights starting again in August. Maybe. In the meantime, if you are interested in what I am playing and what I am thinking you can find that at a sort of makeshift web site at http://idisk.mac.com/donleysmith-Public.
Namaka and I will be playing on the 27th in Windsor at the Hawaiian Kona Cafe. I hope to be with the UFO squadron on August 2nd too.
