Aloha Friday
BOT:
Alooooooha UFOhana!
Well we finally made it to the end of the week with a long weekend ahead of us.
It's been hard week, but a productive one.
Great seeing you folks last Friday and looking forward to jamming with the squadron again this week.
Sharon and Karen, Mahalo Nui for the wonderful Salad and Frozen Treats, Brudda Bu and Amy for the Main Dish, and to Susan for bringing that wonderful Birthday cake for Pua. Mahalo to all those that brought KauKau last week and for your continual support with clean up. I'm sure our environment thanks us too.
Nice to see Uncle Ken and Kini last week again, and we hope to see Aunty Napua this Friday as well. We're hoping to celebrate her Birthday with her . . . we hope Uncle's able to convince her to come.
Ok, so for this week's food theme we'll keep simple and just make it Haw'n Style KauKau.

Aloha All!
Alas, I'm going to Scottish Country Dance class on Friday, I need all the practice I can get before the Beginners Ball on June 21st.
Have a fabulous 'Uke Nite!
Love,
L

Aloha,
This doesn't really qualify as Hawaiian style, but we'd already planned it...
Tonight it's green salad again (no garlic or onion in salad) along with a polenta and sausage casserole with sauce and cheese (this has garlic).
So it's international style...

I will be there. I'm in the mood to cook, so I'll be bringing Crab Cakes (no garlic) with Chipotle Aioli(lotsa garlic) and Flan and if I have the time and I can figure out how to get it there warm, Green Cream of Chili Soup (a al Duarte's)

Good start to a long weekend. Wine and something from the deli.

Who's bringing da b-day cake? I'll bring one, even if it's a back-up cake!

I'm dusting off my uke. I'll be there with a roasted chicken breast and sun dried tomato appetizer. A little reminder of my recent trip to Italy.

Drat. We are now unable to make it.
Hope to see everyone next week.
(BTW: My non-uke friends are being very patient with me, hearing every two minutes how much I love my new uke!)
