The end of another work week, another great night a Bogie's Open Mic, another Aloha Friday on the Rise.
What a great Aloha Friday last week! It was great seeing Brudda Joe back from his surgery.
The KauKau was fabulous too, as it usually is. Patty, thanks so much for opening your Tiki Bar to us. It really helps take the 'edge' off! So nice to have the Hula sistas back with us again. Mahalo Nui Loa to you for making Friday night complete and for sharing with us. I must say that Friday Kanikapila has come to mean so much to me. I really need to say Mahalo, again, to all of you that make it so enjoyable.
We've decided that this week's food theme would be "Swimmingly Good Food" in Honor of Phelp's 8 Gold Medals. Man, talk about cutting it close! So I guess this could be fish (I hear Jan and Alan will be bringing Salmon), or food that use to swim or something this is just plain OnoOno (hey, isn't that a fish too?).
Sylvie, when is your CD coming out?

Alaina is off to a sleep over, so me and Siera will be coming by. We will bring what was going to be tonights dinner, a Safeway roasted chicken. Not fishy, but good.
