At Laaaaast!
BOT:
Our Friday has Aaariiiiived!
Aloha UFOhana! Well I'm on it at least a little sooner?
Mahalo Nui Loa to all who brought KauKua last Friday. Especially to Amy and Aki for the great 'Extra' KauKau last Friday! Saved, once again, by the Wahines of the UFOhana.
A few last Hauoli La Hanaus to Lopaka and Patty! Happy Birthday you guys! Hope you're having a great time where ever you folks are!
Ok so for this week's food theme . . . . hmmmmm . . . . here's something interesting I found on the net:
1968 September 19th, Baby born on Golden Gate Bridge (those Marin County folk!)
I'll let you guys figure out how to work this one into the food theme.

Man, am I ready to uke! Everywhere I went in Italy & Croatia with my soprano uke in its case, people made violin motions and said "play your violin" -- explaining that it is a ukulele, from Hawaii, was rather complicated...I don't think that part of Europe knows Hawaii is there, frankly ...hmmmm.... time for some cultural exchange! Who's up for the next folk festival in Croatia (but gotta take da hula dancers!) No kidding -- this could be arranged! We know the President's Advisor for the Arts, and she knows the Festival people, and this year they had Indians from Michigan, so why not a bit o' da Island Style, eh? Meanwhile, I'll find some way to give birth to some bridge food....see ya'll real soon!
