Just taking advantage between drive imagings to shoot an Aloha out to the Ohana.
Hump day's finally over (well almost) and we're into Fall. I hope it's been a smooth transition for you all and are handling the prospects of a looming new year well.
I have to say we had some really great Kaukau last Friday for the Golden Gate Baby theme and how about that Beach Blanket Babylon show from Patty, not to mention the great Tropical Refreshments? Wasn't that wonderful?
And those great Solos just keep on coming! I think we should go public and sell tickets!

As for this Week's Food Theme, how about "Turning" for the Celebration of Fall when leaves turn?
Btw, we are thinking of projecting/showing "Heart Strings" a documentary on the Kamaka Ukulele Family sometime soon. Would anyone be interested in viewing it on some Saturday in the near future?

I'll miss the great music and food this Friday. I'll be sleeping on the ground, eating hot dogs and hamburgers and playing in a struming mass. Why am I doing this? Oh ya its Burning Uke well almost, no burning. 150+ Ukulele crazies can be fun and there is surf accross the street. See you next week with Tom's case. Kawika

Tis' the season for some southern corn pudding...trying a variation on my mama's recipe- hope it's sweet and savory instead of just sweet.
