Week 7 – 2009

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!

Well here we are at Week 7 and still counting. I understand that there maybe some relief in sight for the Financial State of the Union. Let’s all keep our fingers (and toes) crossed. It can only get better  . . . right?

Anyway, at least we can all still Kanikapila! Speaking of which, another 1000+ words below from last week’s Uke Night:

021409-UkeNight

Did you notice Stevie-B’s (aka Bolo head) make over? Pretty cool huh? Take care Stevie-B, and hope the treatments don’t wear you down. We’re thinking of you!

Mahalo Nui Loa to the crew that braved the rains last Friday, certainly warmed up the Hangar with your mana and wonderful Kanikapila. Mahalo Nui to Linaka and the other Kitchen Menehunes for helping with the Kitchen clean up. You folks make it all bearable.

This week’s food theme: “Stimulating Foods” in honor of the Stimulus we are about to receive from our Government. Obana giveth and the Governator taketh away. I hope we all still have jobs to go back to after the State’s done with us.

And as if we weren’t having enough fun, here are some Pix of the Away Team at Tiki Tom’s. Mahalo Nui to Steve-O for providing the great photos:

Mahalo also to Sharon and Karen for lending a hand with our Kanikapila and for their support to Ka Lei Koa. Hope to see you all on April 19th, when I will hosting a stage at Tiki Tom’s. Stay tuned for more details.
