Week 9 – 2009

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!

Here we are again, at the end of another hectic week. I hope your week’s been better than mine, but then again it’s really nice to have a job to bitch about!

Hey, tomorrow’s another Ukulele Friday and things can only get better right? At the least we have the memories from below to keep us smiling:

From Last Week:

022709-UkeNight

Did any body get the Hawaiian Word for that week?

Check Out this cool Wide Angle of Hangar 1585:

IMGP2954 Stitch

From Week 7, where we met some new friends:

022009-UkeNight

Aren’t our Dancers fabulous? Not to mention our great bass men, Kimo and Sandy. Btw, if you weren’t here for Sandy’s fantastic ‘Solo’ last week, no worries, stay tuned for more . . .

And Speaking of Fabulous, I almost forgot to mention that next week Friday (Week 10 – 2009) will be our 9th UFOhana Anniversary!

Has it been that long already???????? Anyway, I hoping to have ready by then a ‘Special Parting Gift’ for all UFO Pilots that night. So please be sure to come by and Kanikapila with us, not to mention sing Hauoli La Hanau for Us.

Ok as for this week’s Food Theme: “Masterpieces” in honor of Michelangelo Buonarroti’s Birthday born 1475.

Also, we have some really cool Hawaiian events coming up end of March (Brittni) and early April (Herb Jr.). Stay tuned for more information!

Synchronicity of song,
Hula and Mele.

Btw, regarding our ‘Solos’, I just wanted to say that even if you don’t have a solo to sing, you can always lead a ‘Group Solo’. We are, after all, 1 Ohana!

K’den

Spok-U-Bom-Bye!

Aloha,

It was so nice for Nobu and I to be welcomed with such Aloha from everyone! I am excited to be back tonight and share in the great music, food and love. I always say, Music is Love! Nobu can't join us tonight cuz he's playing in the snow with Daddy.

Del suggested I post here a bit more about Herb Ohta, Jr.'s visit in April, so here we go. Herb is excited to join everyone for a few days of laughs and learning! I know he'll love it!
