Week 44 – 110209: The British Invasion Solos!
BOT:
Aloooooha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!
Well, one major Fall Holiday down and 3 more to go! I hope you all had a great weekend and were able to get out in the wonderful weather. I understand that we may have more ahead for us.
Sandy made a great suggestion of doing a British Invasion Solo Night. I figure there must be some Hawaiian Songs written by some British too? Or not. Sylvie, don’t you count?
Anyway, you get the idea. As for for Food Theme, I don’t think we’ll go with British Foods this time around. Safer to go with ‘Comfort Foods’ since we’re into November now.
A big Mahalo Nui to all for a great Spooky Solo Night. Both musically and KauKau wise. Definitely a howling good time as you can see below:
Spooky art courtesy of Claudia . . . note the Wahine Hula Demon!
Kawika, Linda and KimoC as sccccarey Malahinis! Note the fabulous Tiki Visor . . . Heyyyy! Is that the Hula Demon in real life?????
Hula Dancers? No Demons here, just some Wicked Wahines and a lovely Pu Bear . . . Of course Unko Ken has something to say about that!
The Spooky Soloist do their thing!
Sandy as Da Masked Marauder!
Ok, so here we go, another week, another 4 Sleepy Times till Friday Kanikapila!
Welcome Back KimoB!

My mum is a Yorkshire girl and loved Herman's Hermits, so I call dibs on Mrs. Brown which is a favorite of hers.
I will be attempting an English Trifle (dessert), like my mum used to make.
