Mahalo Nui Loa to all for making last Friday a New Song and Channel Elvis Song-A-Thrill-A-thon! It was great celebrating his and our other January Babies birthday.
This week we celebrate another Birthday, Martin Luther King, Jr., which I believe actually falls on this Friday. So I’m thinking we should do Songs of Dreams and Hope in honor of him. Btw, we’re going to try a new ‘angle’ on our singing program this time around, so lets keep an open mind and see how it works outs.
Which does it for the music theme, as for the food theme, I’m thinking we’ll go with JBHF (Just Bring Healthy Food).

Martin Luther King would often sing a song called Freedom Road. I have seen video of him performing it. It's the that goes "Ain't gonna let nobody turn me round, turn me round, turn me round. Ain't gonna le nobody turn me round. I'm gonna keep on walkin, keep on talkin, walkin down freedom road."
I wish I could be there Friday but I'll be laid up.

Just getting over a little sore throat thing- so better stay away tonight. Sure do miss you guys.
