Week 4 – 012510: Something New 4 or Less
AOT:
Aloha UFOhana. Geez, now I know what living in Washington State must be like? Anybody have a Sun Light Lamp I could borrow? I think I’m getting that Seasonal Affective Disorder thing. Thankfully there’s Friday!!!!!!
Anyway, you may have noticed our MT (Music Theme) for this week, “Something New 4 or Less”. Which translates into, “ A New (to the Ohana) Mele that has 4 or less Chords in it!” Easy right? Well maybe the 4 or less, but it might be a little challenge to bring something new into the Ohana . . . or not.
Ok, so for the FT (Food Theme), I’m thinking because of all the rain and such, “Comfort Food”. A Perennial favorite.
To help inspire you for the “4 <=” (i.e. less than or equal to 4) here are some Great “4 Of” Images I’ve collected off the Web:

Ok I think that last picture should really get your creative juices flowing! Please remember to post your IR (Incoming Rations)!

Love the foursome pics, especially The Kazoo quartet. okay, maybe we could carry this into the food section, too, like perhaps i'll bring 4 french fries, or 4 olives, or 4 crackers.... i think i'm going crackers.....

Oh no, Don't go Qwakers on us!
Great Idea Palapala! Yeah, I thought the Kazoo Quartet should follow the 4 Horsemen. Just as Studly!
Glad to hear you'll be joining in!

Whoo Hoo! Can't wait till Friday.
Hardest thing is finding a song with 4 chords or less, but I've finally got one...
Thinking of something yummy for eats, perhaps brussells sprouts with glazed carrots.

I just came back from that Filipino outpost, Daly City, so I picked up some Filipino baked goods. So is the mele supposed to be something nobody has ever heard of? Or just something that hasn't been sung before on a Friday night?

You're right on all three account Kawika! Either of those will work, especially those Filipino stuffs! Btw, is your Sister's name Marty?

This is Kawika here in Petaluma, I'm the other Ukehunter/recuer. Yes my sister is Marti, and with the rain backing off I will be in attendance with some Chicken Apple little smokies (sausages)

Tom, you are the Ukehunter, I just hunt ukes, but I only go for the damaged ones. Keep the Ukehunter handle for your catch and release activities.
